Potluck In Church

Yesterday i brought a Filipino style fruit salad and a juice for our potluck. I always happy when we have a potluck because i can tried different vegetarian foods that the member of the church make. Hubby told me that he enjoyed the foods and he loves it. The picture below was taken during the people trying to get their food. There are many desserts also like cakes, cookies, salad, and many other foodies. We came home full of foods and in the evening we just have a very small meal since we eat a big meal at lunch. Anyway, have a wonderful week and always take care.

What would a church gathering be without a table groaning with food?

SOME SAY THAT SHADOWS

Some say that shadows are fragments of light,
Others that they are but pieces of night,
Fleeing like demons when dawn becomes day,
Fearing the radiance coming their way.
Is one notion wrong and one notion right?
Just what are shadows if they are not light?

Our priest is Filipino and I have had many wonderful meals at the Rectory with his friends and the delicious plates they bring over. We have a delightful time together and they sure know how to have a good time....He is going back to the Philippines in July...sure will miss him. He has been such a blessing.
